Corn Chowder, that is. Which is what I made for this evening’s meal. I like it well-enough, but I do think sometimes Jay gets semi-cranky without a large slab of meat & sides on his plate. I kind of feel like we need to get back on track as far as eating better–After all, if we’re going to have a garden, we’d better learn to choke down some veggies!
The cheesecake was a hit–A few other people felt the same way that I did, about needing a treat the first day back from a long holiday weekend. Abby & I ended up eating the last two (somewhat large) pieces, only because I didn’t want to bring the rest home. I suppose I could’ve left the rest in the fridge overnight, but I didn’t really want to bother with it.
This is going to be a short post, because I’m going to go watch about an hour of TV, finish cleaning up the kitchen, then hit the hay. I’m exhausted!
