I really don’t utilize my slow cooker nearly enough. I know there are a lot of people who use them year-round, but I seem to dig mine out more in the autumn and winter months. And now that the prairie is beginning to cool down quite a bit, I think more slow cooker recipes are in my near future. I had thawed a pork sirloin roast but had no real ideas what I was going to do with it. I came across this recipe from Skinnytaste and thought I’d give it a go. With some slight modifications, I came up with this mouth-watering Slow Cooker Pork Sirloin Roast recipe.
This was one of those days where my kitchen smelled so good while the roast was cooking, I wanted to gnaw on my walls. Even Jay was chomping at the bit to dig into this, and once he did, he declared it one of the best pork roasts I’ve ever done!
I have plans already for the leftovers, involving some homemade sub buns. And maybe some provolone.
I really can’t wait to make this again, it’s that good!
