“Bangers a la Bang”

For whatever reason, I’ve had it in my head that I wanted to make Bangers & Mash sometime this week. Since I had leftover sausage from last night’s Stuffed Shells, I thought I’d give it a go.

I did not make onion gravy, obviously, but I bet Jay would’ve liked these with some fried onions or onion rings.

I know. It’s a very naughty, suggestive sausage.
Overall, it was good. I felt a little odd using some Italian sausages…If I make it over to the farmers market this weekend, maybe I’ll get some beef sausages, and try again.
For dessert, I had some fruit.

The Best Fruit Dip EVER, according to Iowa Girl Eats. I think either I nuked my Marshmallow Creme a little too long, or my cream cheese wasn’t quite room temperature, because mine’s a little grainy. But it still tastes really freakin’ good, and as long as we’ve got fruit, I’ll eat it!
And now, while I wait for The Voice to come on, I think I’ll finish cleaning up the kitchen. I need to make some room on the counter for the crock pot…Jay is especially excited for tomorrow night’s dinner!
