Today was warm enough that had I not worn a short-sleeved shirt, I would’ve left my coat at home. And if I hadn’t put off starting the laundry until AFTER we got back from Sunday dinner with Jay’s folks, I would’ve loved taking the bambino to the park for what will probably be the last time this year. Oh well. I’ve been busy puttering about today. I dug around the freezer, and discovered we were not out of meat as I earlier claimed:
We had a package of chicken I didn’t even know about. As such, I decided on making the Cheesy Chicken Bacon & Tater Tot Crock Pot Bake.
It sounded good, even though it’s not that cold out, but it’ll make some nice leftovers for lunch this week.
It’s gotta be so horrible for you, but it tastes SO good!
Once I got that going in the crock pot, I started in on some fudge.
Nutella Sea Salt Fudge, to be exact. Yes, Mom, I bought a jar of Nutella, in spite of the bajillion samples I still have in the box you sent me. I really didn’t want to spend an hour scooping the individual packets out, and trying to fill a measuring cup up that way. I’m out of printer ink at the moment, so I had to bring the laptop in the kitchen with me:
It got a little sticky when I cut it, but I popped it in the fridge, where it will sit overnight. I’m going to take it into work tomorrow to share with some of my coworkers. Otherwise, I’d easily eat the entire pan by myself!
