(I know, I have the low-brow humor level of a 12-year-old boy)
When it comes to baking dishes and pans, I really honestly didn’t consider that an 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan really might not hold as much as a 9 x 9 x 2-inch pan. But when making an Everyday Food recipe for Chocolate-Peanut Butter Cereal bars, I used what I had clean, which was my 8-inch pan. In retrospect, I’m thinking I should’ve just gotten out one of my 9 x 13-inch pans for these.
They taste fine–Like Cocoa Krispie Treats made with peanut butter.
They’re supposed to be shaped more like granola bars though.
I picked up a new-to-us condiment this afternoon:
I was thinking about using it on these:
I was a little disappointed in the ketchup, though…It wasn’t as spicy as I was hoping! I also picked up some chili sauce, so maybe that will be more to my liking! I also opened this (finally):
I had been saving it for proper chips, but I haven’t gotten around to making them yet. It was decent-enough on the fries I used. Perhaps next weekend I can make myself proper chips and see if it’s any better!
