“I don’t need to sell my soul…”

I decided that just for the heck of it, if I title a post using a song lyric, I’m going to try including a video. Today’s choice is merely because it was the last song I heard before I walked back into work after lunch–I had it stuck in my head for the rest of the afternoon! It serves no real purpose–Other than proving that musically, my tastes are stuck in the early ’90s.

It’s Monday evening, and Jay’s covering a school board meeting, which means pancakes and sausage for the bambino and I.

And yes, there is an American flag on my pancake.

How did it get there? With this contraption:

I won a giveaway from Brandie at Home Cooking Memories for the Flip It Pan. The bambino was especially excited about the “fun” pancakes.

He seemed really thrilled with the first one I flipped over. I thought it was neat. And apparently you can buy different plates to change out the design. It’s neat–And makes nice thick pancakes.

I got a surprise package from my mom this afternoon:

I have new recipes to test out, and then photograph–Hopefully a bit better!

Sharing is caring!
