I’m in an odd mood today…Not a great mood, not a bad mood, but I’ve spent the whole day with a “Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?!” look on my face. Unfortunately, as usual, I can’t really go into a lot, which on the one hand I know is hugely annoying when bloggers pull this crap. I want to be able to put my thoughts and feelings and rants out there–It’s my blog, I pay for it, and I stand by everything I’ve written on here, no matter how aggravating or stupid it is. On the other hand, I have a bad habit of sometimes shooting my mouth off in anger, and I pay for it later. So for the time being, I’ll have to rail in private about what’s annoying me.
But because Jay was in a similar mood (after being somewhat blind-sided on the air this morning), we stopped by the grocery store to pick up some ice cream (and hit up Hy-Vee’s Chinese Express).
Homemade hot fudge is super-simple, contains four ingredients, and takes all of about 15 minutes to make. And it’s SO much better than the store-bought stuff!
Melt butter and semi-sweet chocolate, stir in sugar and evaporated milk, bring it to a boil like above, and there you have it! And over some cool creamy vanilla ice cream, it’s heavenly.
