Slow Cooker Pork Sirloin Roast

Slow Cooker Pork Sirloin Roast

I really don’t utilize my slow cooker nearly enough. I know there are a lot of people who use them year-round, but I seem to dig mine out more in the autumn and winter months. And now that the prairie is beginning to cool down quite a bit, I think more slow cooker recipes are in my near future. I had thawed a pork sirloin roast but had no real ideas what I was going to do with it. I came across this recipe from Skinnytaste and thought I’d give it a go. With some slight modifications, I came up with this mouth-watering Slow Cooker Pork Sirloin Roast recipe.

Slow Cooker Pork Sirloin Roast

This was one of those days where my kitchen smelled so good while the roast was cooking, I wanted to gnaw on my walls. Even Jay was chomping at the bit to dig into this, and once he did, he declared it one of the best pork roasts I’ve ever done!

I have plans already for the leftovers, involving some homemade sub buns. And maybe some provolone.

  1. I always intend to use my slow cooker more, but then I procrastinate and have like 10 minutes to get dinner on the table! Lol! I'm certainly trying this this weekend. That Gourmet Garden garlic blend changed.my.life! when I discovered it and I chuck it in everything when I don't feel like having sticky, "garlic hands."
    • That's brilliant--I love fresh garlic and I find it oddly relaxing to finely mince it...But then my hands stink for a couple days! Hooray for garlic paste! :)
